Construction Delivery

Project Management
Project management is about precise order and process, but most of all it’s about delivering what was agreed upon and, just as importantly, what the client actually wanted and specified! Diamond Egypt Projects effectively acts as your "Client Representative", to provide services for all phases of design and construction, from project inception through to project completion and closeout. Services are focused on project planning, budget adherence and cost control, scheduling, identification and adherence to project time constraints, change order and claims mitigation, whilst simultaneously meeting the quality requirements of the contract documents. Diamond Egypt Projects provide comprehensive, integrated project management services to building and facility owners, project developers and investors.

Management Contracting
Diamond Egypt Projects offers ‘Management Contracting’ which is a term used to describe a method of organizing the construction team and orchestrating the building and fit-out process. The main contractor provides the management expertise required on a construction project in return for a ‘Fee’ to cover its overheads and profit. The intention is to place the main contractor in an independent, professional capacity, where it is able to provide the management skills and practical building ability for a pre-determined fee. The contractor therefore does not participate in the profitability of the building works – its income reward is generated solely from its Fee.

Design & Build
Under this contractual engagement, strategies are developed based upon specific project requirements and schedules agreed upon. Diamond Egypt Projects extensive scheduling experience enables identification of materials and equipment with long fabrication and delivery time frames. The choice of this contractual route provides for allowance to cut time frames back to identifying critical components to concentrate on early procurement in the planning and design stages of the project.

Technical Services
To meet the complexity and technical development inherent in modern building construction; i.e., electrical, mechanical, fire services, IT services, safety and security systems that are required to be integrated and coordinated with base building systems. We work with a team of qualified and experienced professional engineers, designers, supervisors and tradesmen to ensure that our clients receive the best designed and installed data, electrical, mechanical and security systems. We ensure each design is carried out to obtain optimum building comfort levels, thus assuring the highest return value for each dollar spent. At Diamond Egypt Projects, we participate in every form of contractual arrangement, including ‘Hard Bidding’, ‘Value Engineering’ and ‘Design Build’.
